Why Choose Us

Our highest purpose is to serve families with care and professionalism at such a significant time in life, mourning the loss of a loved one. Our commitment to care and excellence is extended to everyone who walks through our doors. The following sets us apart:

We are Privately Owned – Our loyalty and dedication is in service to you and not to a corporate hierarchy. I want to emphasize that we are not sales driven; the family that spends the least receives the same care as the family that spends the most.

Large Modern Facility – With the selection of rooms available, services for all sized gatherings can be accommodated. Our chapel can hold up to 175 people comfortably. For even larger gatherings, there are also visitation rooms adjacent to the chapel that can be used as overflow rooms, with audio and video displayed.

On-Site Crematory – We own and operate two crematory retorts on the premises. Our crematory experts go through rigorous hours of training in the crematory process. Because the crematory is on-site, sometimes families choose to witness the cremation take place. This is offered as a courtesy for anyone wishing to be present. Please see the Crematory page for more details.

Technology – We provide an optional picture slideshow for display on large flat screen tvs at visitations and/or services. There are state-of-the-art sound systems in each of the visitation rooms and chapel.

Community Involvement – We give back to the community by giving to local charitable organizations and school fundraising events. We also have a gift matching programs for all of our staff who wish to give to a charity.

Military and State Funerals – We have a close working relationship with Arlington National Cemetery. Our knowledge and experience extends to the many protocols of military and state funerals.

Services for Families of all Faiths and Cultural Backgrounds – Everyone is welcome here. Our experience encompasses a broad range of funeral customs.

Ongoing Support - We offer grief support groups led by a licensed grief counselor. Invitations are sent out several weeks in advance of each meeting. Please feel free to call us for more information if you have any questions.

When choosing a funeral home, you may want to research whether or not the business is owned by a local family or run by a large corporation. There is a difference.

During the past twenty years, publicly-owned corporations have been consolidating the funeral business similarly to what has occurred in other businesses. Recently, this trend has reversed because the corporate-owned funeral homes have simply not measured up to the service that families receive from family-owned funeral homes.

Historically, funeral services have been provided by generations of local families who have deep roots in their community. When dealing with such an important event, turning to a funeral director whom you know and trust can make a world of difference. A family-owned firm will give you the personal attention and caring that you deserve and the extra support that you will need after the funeral is over. You will also receive the outstanding professionalism that only generations of service can cultivate.
