As Celebrants, we have been trained to customize a service to memorialize a life, as well as create a supportive environment for families to grieve and acknowledge the loss of a loved one. What Can I Expect from My Celebrant?
The Celebrant will consult with you to help design a service that best reflects and memorializes the life of your loved one.
This may include:
- Working with your family to pick out meaningful music to incorporate into the service.
- Helping your family to create videos or photos to use before or during the service.
- Creating unique ceremonies that are meaningful to your family.
- Listening to unique stories and anecdotes to include in the service.
-Discussing the appropriate venue. A Celebrant can serve at a funeral service, graveside service, anniversary tribute, tree planting, bench dedication or any other gathering designed to honor the deceased. Some families wish to use a Celebrant for a service the evening before a religious service at a church.
